The Star Adventurer Mini WiFi (Sam Photo Set) from SkyWatcher comes with a compact high-precision camera tracking platform making it ideal for time-lapse photography in daytime and night time settings & long-exposure astrophotography. With built-in WiFi, the SAM comes with free Star Adventurer Mini Console App for iOS and Android platforms, enabling it to be remotely controlled with smart-phone. The Star Adventurer is very easy to set-up and to operate in all of its modes. It’s ideal and very simple to use for Wide-field Astrophotography with a standard camera lens of 55mm or shorter focal length. With only a rough polar alignment, it will be ideal for all kinds of amateur photographers unfamiliar with astronomy.

The SkyWatcher Mini WiFi can attach to any standard tripod through its 3/8” or ¼”adaptors. You can set the latitude either by adjusting the tilt of the tripod head to match your latitude. You can get more precise & accurate results by purchasing the optional Equatorial Wedge. To attach a camera to the SAM, either a tripod Ball Head (which is not supplied) or the optional Dovetail L-Bracket is required. The optional Dovetail L-Bracket can be used in conjunction with the optional counterweight. The Star Adventure requires AAx2 Batteries or external USB supply for power.
