The StarQuest-102MC 102mm F/12.7 Maksutov-Cassegrain from SkyWatcher is a lightweight telescope with a 12.7 focal ratio. The grab-and-go range combining proven the high-quality telescope optics with a well-engineered and newly designed equatorial mount. Enough light is gathered by the 102mm objective lens to deliver bright images of the night sky while reflections are reduced by multi-coated lenses for clear and sharp viewing. The mount features a precision 122 gear-tooth/360° gearing on both axes, high-quality clutch system and superb stability with a 3 kg maximum load capacity.

With high-resolution and 1300mm long focal length, the StarQuest-102MC is a compact but powerful telescope with a 204x highest practical magnification. When polar aligned, the equatorial mount enables the user to quickly locate objects as they move across the night sky with its smoothly operated slow-motion control cables. It's ideal for the observation of double-stars, and the surface detail of the Moon and bright planets. It is supplied complete with Equatorial Mount and adjustable aluminium tripod.
