This is a very hard monopod to track down so I was pleased to find it at Microglobe. My first copy has lasted 9 years and is only just becoming uncomfortable to use - the rubber foot has gone and the strap has been lost. It is strong and easily supports my Sigma 150mm macro + 1.4tc on a gripped 7D as well as my 300mm f4+1.4tc. I think that the tilt head is unique in monopods and is far superior to ball and socket heads and because it is built in it is also better than add-on tilt heads. I use it for close-up macro work and birding and the whole combination works really well. The quick-release plate works well too with a good firm grip unlike some others.
