The Silk Pro 400 DX is an all-purpose tripod, appropriate for medium format or 35mm cameras with telephoto lenses. Using Tri-Titanium, a strong aerospace alloy compromised of aluminium, magnesium and titanium, the Slik Pro 400 DX tripod has a strength-to-weight ratio 40% greater than comparable tripods in its class. The Silk Pro 400 DX has many of the same specialized features of the Silk PRO 700 DX and even adds a few more of its own.
The SILK PRO 400 DX Tripod is an all-metal tripod, which is more than suitable for digital or 35 mm SLR cameras and medium format cameras. Speed release leg locks make the Silk Pro 400 DX a breeze to set up and take down. The soft grip padded legs and a folded length of just 25 inches make this lightweight tripod even more of a breeze to carry. 3 position leg angle locks allow lowering the tripod to for very low angle or macro photography work. It has a short centre column built in, just unscrew the column into two pieces and it becomes 6.5 inches shorter.
