The Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass placement plays well in correcting the spherical and chromatic aberration (blur images). Additionally the high density fine Abbe Koenig roof prism features high refractive index that restricts internal light diffraction to maximise brightness and contrast. Prisms are also dielectric coated and phase corrected (brightened) which further limits UV diffraction and light loss. The optical tube of these S9 binoculars are further fully multi coated with SXL-MAX anti-reflective coating which boosts colour rendering and creates crisp and clear image with true color. Altogether these features offers a magnificent viewing experience especially during low light density environment.
The Styrka 8x42 features open-bridge design which offers additional grip and helps to reduce hand fatigue. Nitrogen purged optical tube, O-ring sealed construction makes this ED binocular tougher against harsh outdoor conditions and resist the internal fogging.
