Tamron has announced the new Tamron 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC Lens with new Vibration Compensation technology. This lens is capable to cover from wide-angle to telephoto and macro zoom range. Tamron 28-300mm VC Lens incorporates the "Vibration Compensator" [VC], highly desired for zoom lenses. It offers great convenience and ease of use with comfort and versatility of high power zoom lens. It has the capability to cope with hand-shake blur and compensate for camera movements. Tamron 28-300mm VC lens covers a focal-length range of 28 - 300 mm ultra-telephoto.
The high refractive index (XR) glass elements, hybrid aspherical elements and Low-Dispersion_(LD) lens are used in the making of Tamron AF 28-300 mm VC lenses. Its light weight and compact size provides greater comfort and ease to carry it with yourself. Tamron 28 300mm also features internal focusing mechanism and zoom locking system.
