This lens is manufactured according to the new standards of Tamron's Di-Digitally_Integrated Designed lenses. This features a great optical system made up of different lens elements including Extra_Refractive Index (XR) glass elements, (Glass-Molded_Aspheric Lens)-GM elements, Hybrid-aspherical elements, Low-Dispersion (LD) glass elements and Anomalous Dispersion-(AD) glass elements. The XR - Extra Refractive Index glass elements helps in reducing the total length of the lens while maintaining the greater aperture values.
The Glass-Molded aspheric lens elements combined with hybrid aspheric glass elements in Tamron 28-300mm achieving the outstanding image quality with maximum brightness. These Glass-Molded-(GM) lenses are famous for obtaining the images free of distortion and all types of aberrations. The high power zooming quality allowing to capture objects with greater detail from long distance. The extremely Low-Dispersion (LD) glass elements of the Tamron F/3.5-6.3 AF LD Zoom 28-300mm lens eliminates the problem of chromatic aberrations at the edges. These LD glass elements separates a ray of light into its seven (rainbow) colours which produces panoramic view of subjects.
