Tamron Corporation is pleased to launch Tamron AF 70-300 mm DI F4-5.6 Built-in-Motor LD Macro lens with new built-in-motor technology to autofocus quickly, easily and precisely with Nikon Digital SLR Cameras (Including D40, D40x and D60). Digitally Integrated Design (DI) of Tamron 70-300 mm macro Di LD lens boost up the performance and integrity of lens. These special Tamron lenses are engineered and manufactured using special Low-Dispersion glass lens elements. These Low-Dispersion (LD) lens elements are made up of special glass materials that have the ability to separate a ray of light into rainbow colours and also eliminates the problem of chromatic, spherical and coma aberrations that is particularly a problem at telephoto end.
Tamron 70-300 mm LD Macro f4-5.6 DI lens allow photographers to vary focal length to achieve a variety of compositions and perspectives. Telephoto zoom lens increases flexibility which is suitable for photojournalism and children photography. These lens have the ability to do macro photography in the range of focal-length from 180mm (18cm) to 300mm (30cm) with maximum magnification ratio upto 1:2 macro photography, especially useful to capture tiny small objects like flowers and insects, as a bigger image with no distortion and vignetting. Distortion usually cause the resulting photo blur and also effects the contrast and brightness of the image.
Tamron 70-300 LD AF Macro Lens used special type of Aspheric lens in manufacturing which helps a great deal to eliminate the distortion. There is special Internal Tamron Surface Coatings-applied on the lens surfaces to reduce the reflection of light inside the lens. Normally, In ordinary lens with no coatings the images produced in the dim light are not bright and sharp because much of the light loss occurs in the lens due to reflection. But when using Tamron 70-300 lenses, the images delivered have greater brightness, sharpness and contrast-(In every type of light conditions).
