Tokina Canon Camera, Fit 12mm-24mm is the new product of Tokina made exclusively for Digital Cameras with Small CCD (APS-C) sized sensor. The AT-X 124 AF PRO DX lens is produces sharper images than Canon 10-22mm lens.

The Tokina EOS-Fit 12-24mm F4 lens gives and ultra wide zoom lens equivalent of an 18-36mm zoom range on a 35mm film camera while maintaining a bright constant aperture of f4 throughout the zoom range.

 Tokina 12-24mm features non-rotating 77mm filter threads which mean special effect filters will not change when the lens' focus is changed. This fact is very useful while using circular polarising filters. Hoya Pro 1 digital filters are recommended to be used with Tokina Canon EOS-fit 12mm-24mm Lens.

Built in fast internal focusing with Tokina's One-Touch focus clutch mechanism allows the lens to focus faster and switching between auto and manual focus is as easy as snapping the focus ring back and forth.
Tokina Canon-Fit 12mm-24mm  uses 2 sharp-cut aspherical lens elements which accurately correct aspherical aberration usually associated with ultra-wide angle lenses.
The bight f4.0 constant aperture allows plenty of light to enter the camera for shooting in a wide variety of photographic situations especially in low light photography.
Tokina used chrome plated brass mount plate and all-metal zoom unit for this lens. This can stand up to regular use while advanced polycarbonate outer lens barrels reduce the weight of the lens, making it a easy to carry.

This is an excellent quality lens ideal for landscape photography. Very fast automatic focusing motors and user friendly switching between manual and automatic focusing. The filter diameter identical to 70-200 mm lenses sigma/cannon so you save on additional filters.

I have been using this lens with Cannon 350D for more than 5 years. This second lens is a replacement for a damaged one which I badly compromised lens/camera fell from my backpack on a hard surface . After the fall I have been using it the damaged lens for good 1 year before making a move for replacement.

Terrific Lens! built like a tank!Very sharp throughout the zoom range @ the "sweet" point of f11.
