Zenith SCM-200 Junior Microscope: Suitable for children 7+, the Zenith SCM-200 junior microscope is a simple optical tool with 40x to 400x magnification illuminates glass slide specimens via a tilting mirror beneath the slide stage. The Zenith SCM-200 student starter microscope features robust construction, smoothly operating controls and very good optical performance designed for Primary and Middle School use but is also for use at home. The Zenith SCM-200 junior microscope has monocular head inclined at 45 degrees for convenient seated observation and and for group use by children of varying heights as well as a non tilting stage. For anti-tamper safety the locked on eyepiece, stage clips and mirror and a focus-stop to prevent damage to glass microslides and objective lenses are included.
