Customer Reviews on Barr & Stroud Sahara 10x42 FMC WP Roof Prism Binocular£82.00
What a revelation! I've been using a pair of Wray 11x60 which I inherited and are probably older than me - and I'm 75! They weigh a ton and the light-gathering is pretty dismal.
Whereas I now rejoice in clear crisp outlines, vivid colours, and a noticeable 3-D effect on nearer objects. Also. the B&S are about half the weight, very easy to focus and have the feel of a much more expensive product. They are mainly used for coast and bird watching and score highly in both cases.
Only gripe is the lens caps. A bit fiddley.
